Forward Motion

One of my favorite things about being a designer is how many different industries I get to learn about and interact with through the projects I take on. For this project I worked to create a brand identity and event graphics for the New England Synod’s Annual Assembly.

The theme of “Journey Forward” and the idea of looking ahead to where the future takes you immediately made me think of a bird taking flight and inspired some sketches. I explored with a variety of layouts, typefaces and colors before getting to a result that I really liked. Despite not having my designs chosen for the event, I felt that the experience was meaningful and I was really proud of the design I created.
